Before submitting an inquiry form for your order, view the different preservation options under the “services” tab on the home page. Elegant Blossoms offers a variety of different preservation methods to be fit your vision from your special day or in memory of a loved one. By clicking on the FAQS tab, this will help answer questions you may have and what to expect from your order. Once you have completed these two steps, you are one step closer to saving your flowers in a beautiful keepsake!

02 | Fill out inquiry form

Once you’ve reviewed our services and FAQs, complete the inquiry form with your personal info, event/ funeral service date, flower details, and preferred preservation choice. This allows us to confirm availability and begin planning your custom keepsake. After submitting, you’ll receive a response within 24hours or less with the next steps.

03 | Local Drop-Off / Shipping

After booking, you’ll receive detailed instructions for either local drop-off or safely shipping your flowers. If your local we’ll schedule a convenient time for pickup. If you’re shipping, I’ll provide step-by-step guidance to ensure your blooms arrive fresh and ready for preservation. Overnight shipping is required for the best outcome of your flowers.

04 | Drying Process

When your flowers arrive, I don’t immediately place them in silica gel. First, they are inspected and gently refreshed after travel. If needed, stems are rehydrated to revive tired blooms, and any wilted or damaged petals are delicately removed so each flower is at its best before preservation begins. It is important to keep in mind that due to the natural elements of flowers, some color changes are expected. some flowers lighten, darken, or shift in tone and texture. These variations are a normal part of the preservation process and add to the organic beauty of your finished piece. Drying times depend on your choice of flower preservation. Flowers for resin and shadowboxes take three weeks of drying in the solution. Pressed flower frames require a different method of drying which takes 8-10 weeks in the drying press.

05 | Flower Layout

Once your flowers have fully dried, the design process begins. Each order is created with intent and thought to create a balanced, timeless composition for your selected piece. I carefully consider shape, color variation, and spacing to ensure your keepsake feels both natural and artfully designed.

06 | Piece Assembly

This is the exciting part where your flowers are transformed into their final, beautiful form. For resin orders, each layer is poured every 24-36 hours with important considerations involving temperature and humidity control. Flowers for shadowboxes are individually glued and placed resembling the original flower layout approval. For pressed flower frames there is an intricate process of reconstructing flower petals and individually gluing flowers and petals down. Each piece is hand-assembled with meticulous attention to detail, so what you receive is a lasting, museum-quality keepsake.

07 | Order Completion

Once your piece is fully assembled, cured, and inspected, it’s carefully packaged to ensure it arrived safely in your hands. Every detail is checked to make sure your keepsake meets our high standards for quality, beauty, and durability.

08 | Prepare for pickup/ Shipment

Your keepsake has passed our final quality check and its carefully packaged for either local pick up or safe shipping. For local pickup, we’ll coordinate a convenient pick-up time for you. For shipping, your items will be securely wrapped and protected to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Shipping cost to and from Elegant Blossoms is the responsibility of the customer and is not included in our pricing. Pricing will depend on shipping carrier, weight, and distance its being shipped. We want your preserved flowers to reach you safely and beautifully— ready to be cherished for years to come.
